As a Health Coach, here is what I DO:

  • Support clients in defining their wellness vision and where they want to go.

  • Help clients identify their desired changes.

  • Encourage clients to set their own goals that are specific and achievable.

  • Inspire and build client confidence in their ability to make the desired changes.

  • Help clients identify solutions to work through obstacles that may arise.

  • Provide expertise in the area they hold nationally recognized credentials, but only when the client indicates the need to engage with these.

  • Upon request of the client, provide evidence-based resources, from nationally-recognized bodies to help them make informed choices.

  • Meet the client where they are in the context of their whole life.

  • Know when to refer the client for specific consultation with a health specialist.

  • Work collaboratively with health specialists to support individual treatment plans for sustainable positive change.

  • Provide feedback on goals that could cause harm.

  • Respect cultural values.

As a Health Coach, here is what I DO NOT DO:

  • Judge the client.

  • Take control and drive the agenda.

  • Suggest what the client should be doing.

  • Take on the responsibility for the client’s results.

  • Use my own experience to influence the client in anyway.

  • Diagnose, prescribe medication, advise, recommend or offer psychological therapy.

Health Coaching Packages

Every coaching package begins with an initial consultation and intake which includes: health history review, food journal review, records review; 90 min consultation; In-Body body composition assessment; post-session report, goal setting and 1 follow-up via email. 

6-Month Wellness Coaching Package:

A complimentary health history review, food journal review, records review and a 90 min initial consultation to co-create an “ideal wellness vision”, identify a road map, an In-Body body composition assessment (if needed); 12 coaching sessions, set up on a bi-weekly basis; in-between session support and accountability; hand-outs and materials relevant to client’s goals; 2 complimentary coaching sessions at 3 and 6 months respectively, post 6-month program completion.

Wellness Coaching Package:

Sessions include a 50 min session, with a minimum of 4 sessions, to ensure commitment to results and successful integration and implementation. The frequency of the sessions can be determined by and agreed between the coach and the client for optimum results.

Self-Paced Wellness Package:

Initial consultation/intake and 8 weeks of wellness coaching; in-between session support and accountability; hand-outs and materials relevant to client’s goals. The frequency of the sessions can be determined by and agreed between the coach and the client for optimum results.

Teen Wellness Coaching Package:

Created to support teens in establishing great eating habits, proper hydration, stress management and quality sleep, exercise, social and mental health wellness. Includes: 8 coaching sessions, in-between session support and accountability, with accompanying handouts relevant to client's health and wellness goals.
